How to remove your Avocado account

Login to the Avocado web app at https://avocado.io/login

Visit your settings page (the last tab that looks like two little drawers)

Scroll to the bottom and look for the “Close account” link.

Confirm!

IMPORTANT: If you choose to delete your account, your partner will still have access all of the existing data that the two of you created until the time that they decide to also delete their account.

TIP good to know

Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact Avocado and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).

TIP Remove third-party logins

If you signed up for Avocado using a third-party login such as Facebook or Twitter, you probably want to revoke all access from Avocado. Click here to find out how.
