How to remove your Blogtv account
BlogTV has become Younow. You can merge your account into a new Younow account to at least enjoy some kind of deactivating.
From their FAQ:
“We do not currently have the functionality to delete one’s account.
However, you do have the option to Deactivate your account, which can be found in “My Settings.” Deactivating your account will make your profile page and broadcasts disappear from public view. They will not be found via direct links, search or reruns. However, some information may still be visible to others, such as notifications for gifts you’ve given on YouNow, or private messages you’ve sent.
Helpful Trick: Obfuscate your profile info.
Because most accounts and profiles at Blogtv cannot be removed, we suggest you login and change your account and profile information altogether.
Make sure you are logged in to your account on the site and click on the profile or options settings. Locate the fields with your personal info (email, name, address) and fill in generic, random information instead. If you can only select from several fields, change anything personally identifying. If possible, use a homepage/URL field or long text field (such as Description) and put this line in it: http://remove.org/removal-requested. This may encourage webmasters and admins to create an easier removal outlet.
