How to remove your Helium account

Even before entering Helium, be careful, there are lots of complaints about the site, especially because they will not delete the articles written by you once. Actually your texts become their property. By the way, you agree to this when creating an account, so it is your responsibility from the first moment!
How to remove your account: from the email address linked to your Helium account, send a mail to help@helium.com. The subject should be “Cancel my Helium account”. In the mail, request account removal.

Helpful Trick: Removing online data

Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact Helium and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).

Helpful Trick: Remove third-party logins

If you signed up for Helium using a third-party login such as Facebook or Twitter, you probably want to revoke all access from Helium. Click here to find out how.
