How to remove your IKEA account

Depending on the country you live, you may be able to find a link to delete your account, or a telephone option. Try asking the online help option named Anna. Type “delete account?” and you’ll see either the removal link or the telephone option.

Helpful Trick: Removing online data

Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact IKEA and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).

Helpful Trick: Remove third-party logins

If you signed up for IKEA using a third-party login such as Facebook or Twitter, you probably want to revoke all access from IKEA. Click here to find out how.

IKEA indicates that this email is registered; however, it will not allow me to recover my password. INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!

Signed up to the Ikea Home Planner but it is not the US based one so all measurements are in metric. How do I delete the non-US based account so I can sign up with the same email on the US account??

My daughter passed away and I want to stop the catalog – unbelievable how impossible that seems. Can’t find a phone number on the catalog or get Anna to work. I HATE having to leave my e-mail address as it would likely be as difficult to stop your e-mails.

How to I STOP receiving catalogs? I went to IKEA-USA.com/remove but that did not work. It put me on a page to get digital catalogs.
