How to remove your Mingle2 account

You can only deactivate your profile, and it’s unclear what happens to your personal data.

To deactivate your profile, go to https://mingle2.com/user/show_settings

You can reactivate at any time, hence this site is blacklisted.

Helpful Trick: Obfuscate your profile info.

Because most accounts and profiles at Mingle2 cannot be removed, we suggest you login and change your account and profile information altogether.

Make sure you are logged in to your account on the site and click on the profile or options settings. Locate the fields with your personal info (email, name, address) and fill in generic, random information instead. If you can only select from several fields, change anything personally identifying. If possible, use a homepage/URL field or long text field (such as Description) and put this line in it: https://remove.org/removal-requested. This may encourage webmasters and admins to create an easier removal outlet.

Helpful Trick: Removing online data

Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact Mingle2 and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).

Helpful Trick: Remove third-party logins

If you signed up for Mingle2 using a third-party login such as Facebook or Twitter, you probably want to revoke all access from Mingle2. Click the icon below to find out how

I want to thank you for the time I used Mingle2. But I feel to deactivate and delete my account from today. I have decided to trust God to find a woman that is right for me to marry in my church. All the women I met on Mingle2 were far from my country. I want to date a woman in my same vicinity.

Secondly I ask you to unsubscribe my e-mail account not to receive any mail/message from mingle2.

I have had trouble for 3 days, and Mingle has NOT returned any calls. The dots pop up with my username and password, but I can’t go any farther. I am about ready to get off all together and I’ve been on almost 2 years. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.
