How to remove yourself from BustedNewspaper

BustedNewspaper republishes county booking photos and arrest records, and unlike most defunct mugshot sites it remains active.

1. Use the contact/removal form on the site with your listing URL. Removal is discretionary.
2. If your case was dismissed, sealed or expunged, include the court documentation — this substantially improves your odds.
3. Whether or not the listing comes down, submit the page to Google's outdated content removal tool and Bing's equivalent.
4. If you're in a state with mugshot-removal laws (FL, TX, CA and others), a written statutory request citing the law is often honored.

Data brokers re-acquire records from public sources — re-check your listing every 3–6 months.
