How to remove yourself from Clearview AI
Clearview AI scraped billions of face images from the web and sells face-matching to law enforcement and businesses. You cannot search it yourself, but you can demand deletion.
- Residents of CA, CO, CT, IL, IA, MT, NE, NH, UT, VA and the EU/UK can submit a privacy/deletion request via Clearview's privacy request page (clearview.ai → Privacy).
- You'll need to supply a photo so they can locate your records — they state it is used only for the request.
- Also submit a CCPA/GDPR deletion request in writing if you're covered; keep copies.
- If you're in California, the DROP platform covers registered brokers with one request.
Data brokers re-acquire records from public sources — re-check your listing every 3–6 months.
