How to stop junk mail

Physical junk mail comes from marketing lists you can centrally opt out of.

1. Register at DMAchoice.org ($6, covers 10 years) to cut most catalog, magazine and promotional mail.
2. Use free CatalogChoice.org to cancel specific catalogs by name.
3. Opt out of pre-screened credit offers at OptOutPrescreen.com.
4. For coupon bundles: unsubscribe at Valpak.com/coupons/show/mailinglistsuppression and RetailMeNot Everyday's site.
