How to remove yourself from LexisNexis

LexisNexis is one of the master data aggregators — its records feed insurers, employers, landlords and many people-search sites. Suppressing here cuts data off at a source.

1. Go to optout.lexisnexis.com (Information Suppression Request).
2. Complete the form; identity theft or stalking victims and public officials qualify for full suppression — others can still request removal from marketing products.
3. Processing can take up to 30 days. Also request your free LexisNexis Full File Disclosure to see what they hold.

Data brokers re-acquire records from public sources — re-check your listing every 3–6 months.
