How to remove your Farmville account

Deleting Farmville can be a pain, especially if you allowed it from a site like Facebook.

Since there is no way to remove Farmville in one go, you can remove it from Facebook using these instructions.

1. Go to https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications or right click on the arrow on the top right of the page, next to your name, and click ‘account settings’ and choose ‘apps’ from the menu on the left.

2. Click the cross next to Farmville and confirm to remove it completely.

Helpful Trick: Removing online data

Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact Farmville and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).
