How to remove your GoDaddy account
It depends on what you wish to delete.
For website (domain) accounts within your GoDaddy account, visit https://help.godaddy.com/article/5
For your GoDaddy account itself (obviously including possible domains you have, and payments), follow the steps named here: https://community.godaddy.com/groups/go-daddy-customers/forum/topic/how-to-delete-my-godaddy-account/?sid=2472115&sp=1
… Or contact them by mail or telephone using: https://community.godaddy.com/support/
As on many other sites, your account information will not be truly erased from the databases (due to ‘legal reasons’ that are mostly not explained in detail).
Helpful Trick: Removing online data
Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact GoDaddy and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).
Helpful Trick: Remove third-party logins
If you signed up for GoDaddy using a third-party login such as Facebook or Twitter, you probably want to revoke all access from GoDaddy. Click here to find out how.
