How to remove your Kijiji account
If you’ve registered there’s no way to delete your account. The account appears to ‘go away’ after not using it for a while, but this is not the way it should be.
Try to contact them to have your account removed manually. Use this link: https://help.kijiji.net/ca/knowledgebase.php?article=226 for various contact options, including a live chat. Tell them they should add an account removal option!
If you just put up an ad and did not register (taken from their FAQ):
We will send you an email notification once your Kijiji Ad is no longer on a prominent page. The email contains links to bump up your Ad and to buy other optional features. It also contains a link to delete your Ad from the site.
Should you no longer want to receive this email, click the link found at the bottom of the message to unsubscribe from our notification system.
Helpful Trick: Obfuscate your profile info.
Because most accounts and profiles at Kijiji cannot be removed, we suggest you login and change your account and profile information altogether.
Make sure you are logged in to your account on the site and click on the profile or options settings. Locate the fields with your personal info (email, name, address) and fill in generic, random information instead. If you can only select from several fields, change anything personally identifying. If possible, use a homepage/URL field or long text field (such as Description) and put this line in it: https://remove.org/removal-requested. This may encourage webmasters and admins to create an easier removal outlet.
Helpful Trick: Removing online data
Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact Kijiji and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).

I have had abusive and threatening contact with someone that I sold an item to. It was working perfectly fine when I sold the laptop, no viruses or malware. Now 2 weeks later the buyer has contacted me stating that the laptop has multiple viruses and us demanding that I return their money. As I previously stated there were no issues whatsoever. Thus fellow also told me that he was a computer hacker but got caught by the police. So to protect my self against any further antagonistic contact from this individual, I want to delete all my personal information and my account. The next step for me is to contact the Police.
