How to remove your Microsoft Office account

We accidentally arrived at this site, still being logged in from some hotmail account, which enabled us to log in here too. It’s all MS, after all. Alas, no account removal options whatsoever. So the trick should be to know your original account (in our case hotmail), go there and delete it. If you have more info, feel free to complete. Otherwise try asking MS in person: https://support.microsoft.com/getsupport/hostpage.aspx?locale=EN-US&supportregion=EN-US&ln=EN-US&oaspworkflow=start_1.0.0.0&wfname=CS&supporttopic_L1=100101137&supporttopic_L2=100101139&seamId=100101113&modalityType=2&ccsid=635010674839491482

Helpful Trick: Removing online data

Publicly visible text/images often aren’t properly removed even when you succeed in removing an account. Try editing or removing them manually before removing the account itself. If you’re unsure what happens to your tracks: this can be found mostly in the Terms of Service/Privacy Policy; otherwise you can always contact Microsoft Office and ask personally. By the way, removal requests don’t necessarily mean your data will actually be removed (e.g. due to legal obligations).

Helpful Trick: Remove third-party logins

If you signed up for Microsoft Office using a third-party login such as Facebook or Twitter, you probably want to revoke all access from Microsoft Office. Click here to find out how.
