Start Here: The Complete Removal Checklist
Removing yourself from everything at once is overwhelming. This is the order that gets you the most privacy per hour of effort.
Step 1 — The big people-search sites (do these first)
These get the most traffic and feed everything else: Whitepages, Spokeo, BeenVerified, Radaris, Intelius, TruePeopleSearch, FastPeopleSearch. About an hour total.
Step 2 — Cut the data off at the source
The master aggregators supply the small sites: LexisNexis and Acxiom. Slower to process, but high leverage.
Step 3 — Your face
PimEyes and Clearview AI — facial-recognition search is the fastest-growing privacy threat.
Step 4 — Google
Use Results About You to sweep what search still shows, and blur your house if you want.
Step 5 — Phone, mailbox, inbox
Do Not Call Registry, junk mail opt-outs, pre-screened credit offers, and our safe unsubscribing guide.
Step 6 — Maintenance
Brokers re-list you from fresh public records. Re-check Step 1 sites every 3–6 months. Californians: use DROP to hit 600+ brokers in one request.
